As an Instructional Designer for The American Art Clay Company (AMACO/Brent), I produced an educational training series for how to safely operate and maintain electric kilns. This takes complex technical information and makes it approachable for all types of learners.
Demonstration of diagnostic and repair videos for AMACO/Brent equipment. These are utilized by employees, distributors, and end-user customers. I served as the subject matter expert as well as the video producer.
As a representative of AMACO/Brent I traveled the country teaching pottery equipment workshops to adult learners at colleges, universities, and art centers.
I also served as a technical writer for AMACO/Brent and have experience creating flow charts for equipment troubleshooting as well as process flows.
I have experience creating wiring diagrams for various electrical components.
Additionally, I have experience creating equipment repair instructions where I also serve as subject matter expert.
Developed Education Department professional live-stream processes utilizing OBS and Zoom software with Stream Deck hardware. Experience presenting remotely at Art Education Conferences across the country as a Company Representative. Also utilized for distributor training and one-on-one customer help sessions during the pandemic.
